What is Mat Pilates?

Pilates mat classes are functional fitness at its finest - a low-impact, full-body workout that improves flexibility, strengthens the core, tightens and tones jiggly bits, increases mobility, improves posture, and decreases stress. Exercises are performed on a mat in a slow, controlled fashion that emphasizes oppositional length. All exercises are low impact and easily customizable for every fitness level. Adopting a regular Pilates mat practice will help make everyday movement easier.
